In collaboration with National Parks, the brief for the new 8-ha regional park in Jurong West called for a contemporary parkland that accommodates various fitness-recreational stations within an overall life-sized board-game theme concept. Surrounded by an industrial estate and opposite the Boon Lay MRT Station, Jurong Central Park was developed around a 6-storey dice tower which displays random numerals for visitors to partake in the Snakes and Ladders playground and the Ludo Garden.

The design also rehabilitated and expanded upon an existing wetland habitat for the preservation of two distinct dragonfly species, namely Crocothemis servilia (Red Darter) and Potamarcha congener (Orange-Streaked). This continues with the overall National Parks strategy of bringing nature back to an urban environment.
